The levels

I consider Portuguese to be like a big puzzle with several pieces that we need to connect correctly. In the rookie level, the student will learn these first pieces and understand how our language works, so we can build a solid foundation to move on to the beginner level.

When I studied French, I felt like I wasted a bit of time because, for the first 6 months, I only studied the “present” tense. That’s why I developed my method where I divide the level according to verb tenses.

At the beginner level, we’ll study the present, past and future of indicative. At the intermediate level, we’ll cover the imperative, past imperfect and future of the past of indicative, and at the advanced level, we’ll dive deep into the subjunctive verb tenses.

At the local Brazilian level, the student will learn the compound verb tenses and will have access to highly advanced tools in our language, allowing them to achieve the long-desired fluency.

In our formula above, we’ll also add ingredients like grammar, vocabulary, many expressions, music, reading practice, listening practice and vídeo watching so you can communicate naturally with local Brazilians.

At the Rookie, Beginner and Intermediate levels, classes are taught in English. At the Advanced and Local Brazilian levels, classes are taught in Portuguese, with subtitles in Portuguese and English.
